Jeff’s class was fun and full of information. I was nervous about working with the the gun, but he made it relaxed and fun. I feel much safer and confident carrying my gun now.

My wife and I took his class and really got more out of it than I anticipated. He showed us videos and had a discussion on what went wrong and what a conceal carry person should do in various situations. My wife had never shot a gun before and she was nervous before the class. He showed patient and encouragement and proper technique in shooting at the range. Great experience! Five stars!!

I am so thankful for Jeff Hill And his Defense Firearms Training Course. i recently took his class and received my certificate. He was very knowledgeable and informative on the Law and handling of firearms. He is very cordial and personable and he really cares about people having the knowledge they need to defend themselves if they need to. Thank you Jeff Hill for what you do!!
To anyone who needs to get their CCH certifcation….go to Jeff Hill! He is an awesome instructor with a lot of patience and knowledge. His class was so informative and fun! He makes you feel so accomplished and ready to protect yourself and the ones you love. Thank you Jeff Hill you are awesome!!

My husband and I took Jeff’s CCH class recently and it was excellent! He was very informative and made the day fly by during the law portion of the class. He helped us both with our shooting more than we thought anyone could. I highly recommend his class! We are both going to take private lessons from him as well so we can get even better with our guns.

If you are looking for firearm training from a local instructor be sure to check out Hill Defense Firearm Training in Trinity, NC. Very convenient location and the range layout offers different scenario / target alignments. Instructor Jeff Hill is very thorough in teaching both basic techniques and advanced points as the shooter is ready and comfortable. It is obvious that SAFETY is of the utmost importance in the way he handles the classes. I have had friends attend group classes and my son took his Concealed Carry Class in an individual class setting. Nothing but positive remarks for the training and instructor!!!

Me and 2 others signed up for the concealed carry class and I must say it was great. From the initial contact til the end he was very professional, courteous and very humble. Highly recommend Hill Defense Firearms Training. This was my first concealed carrying class. Jeff conducted the class session with a professional and still relaxed atmosphere wich helped in understanding of the laws and material. Range time was filled with several teaching techniques and adjustments that helped my accuracy within minutes. I would recommend coming to see Jeff for your concealed carry or even to hone your techniques .

I highly recommend Hill Defense Firearms located in Trinity North Carolina. Jeff was very knowledgeable. I sincerely appreciate Jeff, very kind and respectable person. Jeff will be the only instructor I will go to from now on. He was very thorough with my lesson. I believe the private class training gave more opportunity for me to learn more about defense training. I HIGHLY recommend his class. His CCH Class was very informative and affordable with all of the new laws North Carolina has passed that I didn’t even know about. We went over clearing weapon malfunctions, dominate and non dominate single hand shooting, grip and stance techniques, how to walk and shoot, the list can go on and on. I learned so much in only 8 hours. Thanks again Jeff!

Jeff Hill helped refresh me on the fundamentals of firearms handling and safety. We also worked on self defensive with a pistol as well as transitions from pistol to rifle. It was a great class! He was patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and HDFT.

The instructor, Jeff Hill, teaches a VERY THOROUGH class covering everything from gun safety practices, handling, and gives many examples of ‘situations’ and how to remain calm and confident in handling your gun! The shooting course he has established on his property is equally IMPRESSIVE with many pingers, which I love, and he delivers on tactically training you throughout the obstacle course HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! Absolutely a get place. Myself my wife and sister have taken his concealed class. Jeff has been very helpful in teaching my wife and sister how to handle and shoot there pistols. The private range is awesome. Highly recommend.

Had the opportunity to do some basic gun training initially, then complete my CCW class with Hill Defense. Great decision…he made the whole process easy, and made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole day

I am 80 with arthritis challenges. Jeff was able to help me feel very safe and to become proficient with my firearm. He was very patient and worked with me to develop a method of handling and shooting my firearm that works for me.I highly recommend his training and CCH classes!
